Peace Officer

As of October 29 th, 2006

The Cisco Police Department is currently accepting applications for 3 full time Peace Officers. 

Must be 21 years or older.
High School Diploma or GED required.
TCLEOSE Certification required. 

Starting salary with certification $21,000 per year. 
The Department currently employs 8 certified officers.  Completion of application, background investigation, physical, psychological, and Oral Review Board required.

Medical Benefits and Retirement included. (Blue Cross - Blue Shield)
Vested after 5 years
Retirement after 20 years (TMRS)
10 days vacation per year (15) after 10 years
12 Sick Days per year
Holidays

Reserves

Reserve Officers are required to go through the same hiring process as full time officers. You must be certified and able to work a minimum of 16 hours per month.
