Sergeant Investigator Jason Weger

I wanted to be in law enforcement for the typical reason........to help people. But also because I still believe that one person can make a difference. That's why I chose a small town to work in. Nothing against larger cities, but it is a little more personal here. And if I can change one life for the better then I will have done my job and I will be happy.

I graduated from Tarleton State University in February 1996. It was the first class to go through Tarleton under the new 560 hour program requirements. It was also the first academy under the new co-ordinator Bill Holloway.

I have grown to love Law Enforcement. It is defiantly a way of life. There comes a time when a person  must decide which side of the line they want to be on. I am glad I chose the right one.

Officer Weger began working for Cisco in July 1996. He was promoted to Sergeant in 1999 and then to Investigator in 2004.
